One of the world's most famous British amplifier brands, Orange Amps, has just announced a major theft of a container load of amplifiers from its Borehamwood premises. Used by some of the biggest stars such as Madonna, Led Zeppelin Prince and Kaiser Chiefs, the robbers targeted this prestigious brand to carry out a daring raid on Saturday 16th August.

The one hundred forty one Orange Tiny Terror Combo guitar amps, which have a combined value of over 60,000, were part of the first shipment of the much anticipated amps into the UK. The product was launched at the Frankfurt music exhibition earlier this year, on the back of the award winning acclaimed Tiny Terror amp which has sold over 30,000 units and proven to be one of the most in-demand amps in the world.

The combination amp and speaker has a value of 439 each and was stolen from a temperature controlled, sealed forty foot container. The robbers couldn't break the locks so they attempted to use an acetylene welder and then angle grinders to cut through the quarter inch locking steel plates.

As this was part of the first delivery into the UK, only 121 units had been shipped into music shops, so this is still a highly sought after amp with very limited availability. Orange recently won the Queens Award for Enterprise - International Trade.

The Police have launched a major investigation and informed all relevant port and home authorities. Orange Amplifiers are putting up a reward of 5000 for information that will lead to a successful conviction and recovery of these amplifiers. If you have any information please contact the local Police force on 0845-3300222, quoting Crime Number J1/08/3588. The company has the serial numbers of all the products stolen which is available on it's website.

Known for its artistic instrument designs, Luna Guitars is pleased to introduce the Luna Trinity. This is the most talked-about acoustic guitar of the year. It had its television debut on last season's American Idol, when it was played on the show by finalist, Jason Castro.

The Trinity balances Luna's best creative and technical efforts. Crafted at the historic Terada, Japan factory that has manufactured guitars for Alvarez, Gibson, Gretsch, and Martin, the Luna Trinity combines uncompromising structural integrity and superb playability with tone and projection worthy of any professional artist or discriminating player.

The Trinity features a solid sitka spruce top with an extraordinary knot work design at the sound hole crafted of mother-of-pearl with ebony borders. An ebony bridge, classic herringbone binding, rosewood sides and solid rosewood back put the finishing touches on this elegant instrument.

Luna's crescent moon mother-of-pearl logo shines brightly from an ebony headstock with Gotoh 18:1 tuners. The company's signature mother-of-pearl moon phase fret markers make their way down an ebony fret board with stainless steel frets. Luna's attention to detail is further evidenced by a bone nut and saddle.

Complementing the Trinity's design is the inclusion of a state-of-the-art B-Band Preamp tuner that maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of the fine instrument. The Preamp includes a 3-band equalizer, phase select, low cut filter with frequency select, as well as Hi and Lo Z outputs.

AlumiSonic Aluminum Guitars will publicly premier the Ultra-1100 SuperChrome on July 12-13, 2008 at the Great American Guitar Show in King of Prussia, PA. The Ultra-1100 aluminum top is cold forged and tempered to precisely replicate the varying curves and surface contours of a classic archtop instrument. Incredibly, the resonance produced by the shape of this archtop can create infinite sustain under slightly overdriven conditions. The Ultra-1100 also has a 4.5 degree pitched neck that follows the angle of the archtop contour. Ultra-1100 necks are set with AlumiSonic's new patented Set Neck Mounting System. This system secures the neck internally with no exterior neck plate or screws on the back of the guitar. All AlumiSonic Guitars have no exterior rivets or unusual screws, and are seamlessly hand crafted. AlumiSonic Guitars typically weigh from only 6.5 to 8.5 lbs.

The Ultra 1100 SuperChrome retails for $2720.00.

DigiTech, a leading manufacturer of guitar and bass processors, and a Harman International company (NYSE-HAR), is now shipping the new HardWire Guitar Pedals. The HardWire Guitar Pedals feature true bypass and constant high-voltage operation (15-volts) from a single 9-volt battery or power supply. True bypass allows a guitar's true tone to pass unaltered when in bypass mode. Constant high-voltage operation prevents undesired distortion when used with high-output pickups and allows effects pedals to work flawlessly in amplifier effects loops. The HardWire Guitar Pedals are crafted from premium, all-metal components to perform night after night, tour after tour.

Each HardWire pedal also features an assortment of tourworthy accessories like green gaffer tape common to pro pedalboards, Stomplock knobguards to maintain pedal settings, and a hook & loop pad to fasten the pedal to a pedalboard.

The HardWire lineup consists of the seven distinct pedals: the HT-2 Chromatic Tuner (a guitar tuner with tuning references including flat and double flat), the CM-2 Tube Overdrive featuring a Classic mode and a Modern, higher-gain overdrive mode, the SC-2 Valve Distortion with Crunch mode and a Saturated mode for modern hard rock tones, the TL-2 Metal Distortions with a percussive Tight mode and a Loose mode for detuned guitars, CR-7 Stereo Chorus featuring seven chorus types from classic Analog to modern Multi-Voice settings, the DL-8 Delay Looper with ten delay types from Tape to Digital and a 20-second Looper, and the RV-7 Stereo.

RJM Music Technology has just introduced the MasterMind, a new MIDI foot controller promoted as the ideal controller for touring guitarists — durable and powerful yet compact enough to be carried in a gig bag or inside a rack.

"This really fills a hole in the market," says Ron Menelli, President and Chief Engineer of RJM Music Technology. "Until now hasn't been a truly professional quality MIDI controller of this size."

"We're changing the minds of a lot of MIDI-phobes," says John Pegler, VP of Sales. "This system (the foot controller as well as the RG-16 or Amp Gizmo) is a complete solution and it is so incredibly easy to use."

"I was skeptical at first," says rig-builder Chris Kamp. "It's comfortable to use and the buttons are spaced far enough apart that I'm not hitting more than one at a time. The thing is built like a tank!"

RJM Music Technology is confident that the MasterMind will appeal to both amateurs and professionals. It requires virtually no setup or configuration for simple rigs, yet has many configuration options available if the user needs to control a large, complex rig.

Some other noteworthy features are phantom power support and the ability to connect multiple MasterMinds and have them synchronized together.

The MasterMind is now available from RJM Music dealers worldwide. US MSRP is $349.99.

Joe Satriani celebrated two 20th anniversaries this year — the 20th Anniversary of his groundbreaking "Surfing with the Alien" album and his 20th year with Ibanez Guitars. Since Satriani celebrated two anniversaries, Ibanez decided to offer two 20th anniversary models.

The Limited Edition JS20TH features a three-dimensional Silver Surfer graphic, which is reported to require a very time-consuming technique to effect. Also featured are DiMarzio PAF Pro (neck) and Fred (bridge) pickups, the original Edge locking trem, Joe Satriani strap and picks, and a hardshell case. Only 150 of these models will be available in the United States. The list price of the JS20TH is $7999.99.

Ibanez' second anniversary model, the JS20S, features a standard graphic of the Silver Surfer, IBZ Axis pickups, the Edge III trem, and lists for $1733.32.

The JS20TH prototype was originally seen in the hands of Joe Satriani at the Joe Satriani 20th Anniversary concert at the January Winter NAMM Show; however, details on the guitar had not been finalized and the guitar was not offered for sale at that time. The Summer NAMM Show is the official debut of both the JS20TH Limited Edition and the JS20S standard edition.

Note: Pictured JS20TH is a prototype. Final production model may vary slightly.

The Peavey PXD Series launches with four distinct models, the Tomb™, Twenty-Three™, Tragic™ and Void™, with a range of feature options including Kahler® tremolos, adjustable bridges with a string-through design and wicked body shapes that ship with Coffin Case® hard cases or gig bags. Marshall Amplification features five JVM2 Amplifiers - two heads and three combos. Equipped with 5 x 12AX7s, 2 x EL34s (50-watt) or 4 EL34s (100-watt), these amps join Marshall's JVM4 models to create a JVM family of the most versatile and highest gain all-valve Marshall amplifiers to date. Models in the JVM2 series are:

JVM210H 2-channel 100W Head
JVM205H 2-channel 50W Head
JVM210C 2-channel 100W 2x12" Combo
JVM205C 2-channel 50W 2x12" Combo
JVM215C 2-channel 50W 1x12" Combo
Like the award-winning JVM4 amps, these models are feature-rich and packed with the latest Marshall technology. Two independent, footswitchable channels (Clean/Crunch and Overdrive) and three footswitchable modes per channel effectively deliver six distinctly different Marshall voices that range from shimmering clean to extreme, high-gain distortion.

A straightforward, familiar front panel provides six LED switches and 16 controls - Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, Gain and Reverb for each channel, two footswitchable Master Volumes plus Resonance and Presence.

In addition to a Channel/Mode selection switch for each channel, the amps also feature front-panel switches for Reverb (on/off), Master Volume section (1 or 2) and FX loop (on/off). Onboard logic ensures swift and silent switching, plus it remembers the last position of each front panel switch in all six modes - even after the amp has been powered down. Both channel/mode LEDs are tri-colored to indicate which of the three modes is selected in each channel.

Marshall's intuitive, "intelligent" four-way foot-controller can memorize a player's front-panel switch settings. Five easy-to-read LEDs reflect every front panel switch setting, including the channel Mode being used, via tri-colored indicator LEDs for both channels. This patent-pending technology allows single front-panel switches or entire setups (Channel/Mode, Reverb, FX Loop and Master Volume switch settings) to be easily assigned to any one of the foot-controller's four switches. For added convenience, the foot-controller connects to the amp via a standard guitar cable.

Footswitchable, studio-quality digital reverb with independent controls for both channels is also included. The reverb is routed in parallel and mixed with the direct signal by means of a valve. When the reverb is engaged, no degradation of the direct signal occurs, and when off, it is removed from the circuit. The reverb circuit has also been designed to avoid abrupt cut-offs, allowing the tail to decay naturally when switching or changing from channel to channel.

To satisfy pro player needs, all switching can be done via MIDI, and each JVM amp's rear panel houses MIDI IN & MIDI THRU jacks. Two FX loops (footswitchable series/parallel and parallel) and a speaker-emulated XLR output are also provided.

All combos feature genuine Celestion speakers, and, just like the JVM410C, the JVM210C and JVM205C 2x12"s both house 1 x Vintage speaker and 1x Heritage speaker. The Heads can be partnered with any Marshall 4 x 12" cabinet.

The Marshall JVM2 Amplifiers are currently available with pricing as follows:

JVM210H 2-channel 100W Head - $2658.00 MRSP
JVM205H 2-channel 50W Head - $2398.00 MSRP
JVM210C 2-channel 100W 2x12" Combo - $3199.00 MSRP
JVM205C 2-channel 50W 2x12" Combo - $2850.00 MSRP
JVM215C 2-channel 50W 1x12" Combo - $2698.00 MSRP

Ooh La La Manufacturing has just released their forth, Devi Ever designed/Effector 13, effect pedal. The Torn's Peaker is fuzz love. This is fuzz with all the flaws...all the grime and compression and unclean, ungodly, unholy sounds that distorted wave forms originated from! Sliced up speaker cones... over driven pre-amps on mixing boards of the 50's... sessions recorded directly to vinyl before the days of tape and processors and pro-tools. All Ooh La La Manufacturing's products are handmade and hand painted in the USA. The Torn's Peaker artwork is painted and designed by Jason Myrold. Street price on the Torn's Peaker is $225 U.S. Check the website for a complete dealer list for the US and abroad.

TC-Helicon announces that VoiceTone Harmony-G, the vocal harmony and effects pedal for the performing guitarist, is now shipping. By following natural guitar playing, the new VoiceTone pedal enables singing guitarists to add backup harmony singers to their performances without any tedious programming. The performer can focus on playing while the engaged Tone button intelligently controls EQ, compression and de-essing in real time so the vocals can be heard and understood. With included presets authored by experienced producers, engineers and vocal arrangers, VoiceTone Harmony-G gives the singer a fully-produced vocal sound and the ability to recreate studio-produced vocal sounds live. VoiceTone Harmony-G's compact form factor and metal construction was built for real-life gigging. Manufacturer's suggested retail price is $375. VoiceTone Harmony-G is a studio-quality vocal harmony and effects pedal for singing guitarists that takes the programming completely out of the equation, since the guitar playing tells Harmony-G what notes to harmonize. Adaptive harmony arrangement algorithms follow the guitar and voice, and produce realistic harmonies without pre-programming. A guitar AutoMix function provides acoustic guitar players with a balanced mix of vocals, guitar and effects on the stereo outputs. The straightforward controls enable guitarists to go further and arrange voicing and effects changes in their songs by stepping through ten presets with A/B settings as they perform. A tone switch engages the adaptive live engineer effects and dynamically polishes vocal tone.

VoiceTone Harmony-G features two-voice 4th generation intelligent harmony allowing for natural back-up vocals, and a unique bass setting instructs a harmony voice to follow the chord root. Additionally, a separate double effect uses the widely respected TC-Helicon overdub algorithm to produce a thick sound typically reserved for studio recordings. Topping an already packed feature list, VoiceTone Harmony-G sports a studio quality mic preamp with phantom power, XLR mic level I/O, guitar input and pass-thru for connecting to guitar effects and amp, solid metal construction and fastidiously detailed audio design from input to output.

The VoiceTone family of vocal effects pedals also contains the new VoiceTone Harmony-M, a keyboard-controlled harmony pedal for MIDI-keyboard players, and three effects pedals dedicated for singers; VoiceTone Create multi-effects pedal, VoiceTone Correct pitch correction and adaptive EQ/dynamics processor, and the new VoiceTone Double live-overdubbing-in-a-pedal. With VoiceTone Harmony-G the range is augmented for performing guitarists looking for effortless and professional vocal harmony and effects.

They could ditch the coil tap as well.  Those things are useless, imo.  Other than that, it looks like a fun guitar.  I like the vintage finishes that they offer.

Jackson Charvel Manufacturing Inc. (JCMI) announces the summer 2008 debut of three new U.S.-made high-performance production guitars that put the famous Charvel name and sound within reach of guitarists who've long dreamed of owning one.

Charvel instruments have enjoyed a matchless 30-year reputation as custom tone machines revered by the world's most talented players. But as Charvel fans worldwide know, it's been a very long time since the company introduced a U.S.-made production guitar, which is exactly why Charvel is so excited to unveil not one but three such models.

The new guitars are the San Dimas™ Style 1 2H, the San Dimas Style 2 2H and the So-Cal Style 1 2H, all three of which take traditional electric guitar designs to stratospheric heights of Charvel high performance while remaining attainable to the players who've always wanted a fine Charvel guitar but, couldn't afford one — an undeniably appealing opportunity given the high prices of similar import guitars.

The San Dimas Style 1 2H and the San Dimas Style 2 2H both feature an alder body with a black polyurethane finish (the latter with a contoured back). Both have a one-piece maple neck with a 12"-16' compound radius fingerboard, a Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup, a Seymour Duncan '59 neck pickup, a Floyd Rose tremolo unit, Grover mini-tuners, black hardware and included gig bag.

The So-Cal Style 1 2H model features an alder body with a pickguard and a black polyurethane finish. It too has a one-piece maple neck with a 12"-16" compound radius fingerboard, a Floyd Rose tremolo unit, Grover mini-tuners, black hardware and an included gig bag. Its signature tone comes from a DiMarzio Tone Zone bridge pickup and a DiMarzio Evolution neck pickup.

As noted, the guitars come in a sleek black finish. Notably, however, each of these three guitars will also be released in limited custom colors that will replace each other quarterly. In July 2008, for example, the San Dimas Style 1 2H will be released in Candy Red, the San Dimas Style 2 2H in Pegan Gold and the So-Cal Style 1 2H in Candy Tangerine for three months only. At the end of this first three-month period, those three colors will then be "retired" and replaced by a new custom color for each model (announced just before release) for the next three-month period, and so on.

The legendary Fender Princeton® Reverb Amp of the 1960s was small, light, and moderately powered. Though intended for practice situations, the Princeton was capable of big tube tone, and Fender's world-class Reverb and Vibrato effects were the icing on the cake. From its inception 'til today, countless guitarists have chosen it as their go-to studio amp, crafting signature sounds with a stomp box or two feeding a simple miked-up Princeton. Today, original Princeton Reverb amps are prized collectibles, and becoming harder to find. The new '65 Princeton® Reverb Amp offers today's players all of the great tone and dynamics of the original...in an affordable, roadworthy reissue. The robust 15-Watt platform is a wise choice for creating tube tone in a small space, and even provides enough output for small gigs and rehearsals.

In January, at the 2008 Winter NAMM show, Ernie Ball/ Music Man introduced its revolutionary titanium-coated acoustic strings, for the first time offering plain strings the same protection as wound strings. Now, at the 2008 Summer NAMM show, Ernie Ball is introducing its patented coated Titanium RPS technology to electric strings, providing the same cure for problematic weakness and breakage and offering strings that resist buildup and provide a clear, crisp tone gig after gig.

Similar to the titanium-coated Slinky acoustics, these new strings feature triple protection: an exclusive protective coating on both the wrap wire and the plain strings as well as a patented winding of titanium wire around the lock twist of the ball end. And as has always been the case with Ernie Ball, the titanium-coated Slinky electrics are also made with the finest and freshest raw materials, in line with the company's rich heritage of superb craftsmanship and quality.

"We spent quite a bit of time on developing our brand new line of Titanium RPS Coated Electric strings, and couldn't be more excited to launch these to guitar players worldwide," said Brian Ball of the Ernie Ball Company. "Our brand new string line protects all six strings from rust and breakage due to our exclusive coating on the wound strings, and patented titanium wire on the plain strings. Additionally, these new strings are hermetically sealed in our brand new Element Shield packaging, ensuring that the strings stay as fresh as the day they were made."

Be sure to check out these and other Ernie Ball products at booth #1600 of the 2008 Summer NAMM show, taking place June 20-22 in Nashville, Tenn.

Paul Reed Smith Guitars is pleased to introduce the Mira Maple Top model; an instrument that combines the retro vibe of the PRS Mira with the figured maple tops that PRS customers have come to expect. This new model is an evolutionary instrument stemming from the increasingly popular Mira. The maple top provides the guitar both a distinctive visual and tonal identity.

New colors and optional gold hardware are also part of this new model's offerings. The new finishes are all wrap-around and include Tri-Color Sunburst, Dark Cherry Sunburst, Whale Blue/Black Burst, Violin Amber Burst and Vintage Natural.

Like all PRS guitars, the Mira Maple Top is comprised of the finest woods and materials available. In addition to the mahogany and maple top body, the mahogany neck and East Indian rosewood fingerboard neck come with either moon inlays or optional bird inlays. This instrument is a 24-fret, 10" radius, 25" scale length guitar with either regular or wide-thin neck carve. Locking tuning pegs, Mira treble and bass pickups, volume, tone, 3-way blade and a mini toggle coil tap round out the features.

PRS Guitars' National Sales and Marketing Manager Larry Urie said, "I think it is a smoking guitar that will appeal to a lot of players."

Ooh La La Manufacturing has just released their third, Devi Ever designed/Effector 13, effect pedal. Basically, the Soda Meiser = Fuzz Bliss. At lower intensities it has a great Big Muff sound but with a lot more character. At higher intensities it becomes disharmonic fuzz bliss that reminds many of the Ampeg Scrambler. In addition to it's great fuzz sound there is a second mode that unleashes wild chaos unlike you've ever heard. All Ooh La La Manufacturing products are handmade and hand painted in the USA. The Soda Meiser artwork is painted and designed by Jason Myrold. Street price on the Soda Meiser is $225 U.S.

The new Jerry Douglas Artist Series Aura Imaging pedal, created in collaboration with the artist hailed by the New York Times as "dobro's matchless contemporary master," uses 16 custom Fishman Aura images created and used by Douglas specifically for resophonic guitars. These one-of-a-kind "signature" sounds were recorded using premier vintage microphones and Class A discreet mic preamps. Main controls include Volume, Blend and Image Select controls; a Phase switch to fight feedback, and a Bypass/Mute foot switch.Rugged and elegantly designed, the pedal also features 24-bit A/D/A and 32-bit internal processing for superior audio quality, along with an Input Trim and Clip/Low Battery indicator. It runs on 9V battery or power adapter.

Commenting on the new Artist Series pedal bearing his name, Douglas said, "After all these years of fighting microphones and feeling tied to one foot of the stage floor, I really believe we have the answer to every acoustic instrumentalist's dreams. It's a realistic sounding pickup that empowers the voice of our favorite instruments.

"With the Fishman pickup and Aura, you can walk all over creation and still sound like you're sitting on your back porch."

Occupying a unique niche in American music, Jerry Douglas has been influential on bluegrass music and related genres. His transcendent technique and his passionate musicality have helped him net twelve Grammy Awards and numerous International Bluegrass Music and Country Music Association awards. A major hit with the Guitar and Trade media during its "soft launch" at Winter NAMM, the Douglas Artist Series pedal will make its official debut at Summer NAMM and ship soon after.

The Descend by Heavy Electronics, represents an unprecedented tool for guitarists that has been overlooked for years. The Descend offers its user a calculated reduction of volume at the tap of the switch. However, the Descend also features unique characteristics that protect the core tone of your guitar. Unlike the volume knob on your guitar or a traditional volume pedal, the Descend features a proprietary circuit that allows the user to decrease volume without necessarily altering tone characteristics. The 3-way voicing function provides options that range from a treble increase to a minimal treble decrease. Moreover, these tone profiles can also be accessed with very little volume reduction allowing the descend to function solely as a three way filter.

If you play an overdriven amplifier, you know that if your gain settings are high enough there really is no such thing as a clean boost. Boosts only increase output of the guitar and that can only make the amp throw more dirt. For the first time, the Descend will offer a legitimate clean channel to all the gain fans out there. Moreover, having a volume button rather than a rocking pedal provides a level of accuracy few volume pedals users have previous experienced. Often, guitarists turn down the amp and use gain boosting pedals to emphasize dynamics, the Descend allows your amp to do the work and puts your overdrive tone back where it belongs (neck deep in 12AX7s).

Too often as guitarists, we ask constantly for more and more when our dynamics depend on both increases and decreases in volume. Use the Descend and promote the integrity and the emotion of your dynamics.

The Descend is in stores right now.

MAP price $129.00

After a five-month order freeze, Schroeder Guitars will begin accepting new custom orders again, as of June 1, 2008. From the very start of Schroeder Guitars in the mid-90s, Jason Z. Schroeder's motto has been "You dream it, I'll build it." According to Jason, "I love building guitars. But more importantly I love working through technical issues and helping guys realize their dream guitar."

"Ultimately, it is all about the neck. If a guy loves his neck carve, he will love his guitar. That is why I spend so much time getting the neck carve just right." From Louisville Slugger chunky to a 1960 slim carve to a soft V, Schroeder will work with the client to get the neck carve right. He often has clients ship their favorite guitar to him so he can duplicate the neck carve.

Schroeder currently offers four body styles: The Traditional Singlecut, the Doublecut, the Shorty, and the Chopper. These are offered in variety of scale lengths, fretboard radii, and neck carves.

Still built "the old fashioned way," Schroeder has resisted the temptation to build with CNCs because of the variation in the guitars he builds for his clients. "It is so easy to make small changes to my designs to accommodate a player's needs when I build by hand. I am also able to offer many options that other small builder's don't because there is no hassle with having to program a CNC to make design changes. I simply pencil it out and make the change." Some of these changes to designs include a 7-string baritone, 6/12 doublenecks, altered control layouts, slightly smaller or larger body to adjust weight and improve ergonomics for a particular player. This is all in a day's work for Schroeder Guitars. "Essentially, I build prototypes. Every guitar is different. That keeps me on my toes, keeps me growing as a builder, and ultimately makes my job more fun."

Schroeder Guitars only uses the best materials available to build his guitars. With a large selection of quilted and flamed maple tops, Honduran mahogany and Black Limba backs, Brazilian rosewood fingerboards, stainless steel frets, high-end electronics and hardware, no expense is spared in the creation of a Schroeder Guitar.

New from Hottie Mods by Steve McKinley is the Hottie Mods Brunette BOSS DS-1, a blend of Germanium and Silicon Overdrive. The Brunette's circuit and buffered output produces overdriven "Blackface" amp tones that are intended to work with any guitar/amp combination.

Features:

A combination of Germanium and Silicon diodes
Added low-end for full frequency response
Improved clarity
With added compression, chords swell and leads soar!
Tons of volume output. This is for overdriving tube amps or other overdrive pedals
Buffered output so that it can drive pedals or amps with a high current and low impedance signal
Lowered noise floor for near non-existent background noise even with the Drive at full
Super Blue LED

The mix of Germanium and Silicon diodes inserts three diodes in the distortion circuit so you can have a modern twist on a coveted vintage sound. It increases the gain and compression a bit for more sustain. With the Tone, Level and Drive controls, you can fine-tune from light overdrive tones to a roaring blue flame.

The Brunette can be powered by batteries or an external 9 Volt DC power supply.

Price: $94. Available starting in May 2007.

While only $740, the LG507 guitar delivers high-end features and performance such as a bound ebony fingerboard and premium Floyd Rose tremolo in a professional USA design by U.S. Masters Guitar Works. The neck design is a key element of the LG507. With a focus on outstanding playability, feel and response, the 24 fret LG Viper Neck is based off of U.S. Masters acclaimed High Performance Series Neck. The ergonomic design is rock solid and fast, and soloists will appreciate the neck's shape, smaller neck joint and contoured low profile heel. It gives players full, unrestricted access to the entire fingerboard without a change in the feel of the neck. The hard rock maple neck's oil finish feels fast and broken-in, like you've played on it for years. And the neck is able to be set for a low, easy action.

The LG507 is outfitted with the premium hardened steel plate licensed Floyd Rose tremolo for better tone, action and durability. The tremolo is mounted with studs and anchors and is equipped with the tension adjusting screw-on arm for easy adjustment and re
